Police Searching For Annoyance Theatre Laptop Thief
CHICAGO (CBS) --The owner of the Annoyance Theatre in the Lakeview neighborhood is convinced someone will recognize a brazen thief who made off with two laptops.
Security video shows the thief taking his time and checking things out and then walking around the bar.
A few seconds later, he's in the theater and already is cradling a laptop under his shirt.
"It seems like he has at least an idea of the layout and so we feel like maybe he or friends of his have come here before and checked out the place and again so that makes you feel like you have to kinda be looking over your shoulder, like what are these people doing who are walking through -- and you want to think that everyone's here for a great reason which is to laugh and see a show," said owner Jennifer Estlin.
The owner of the theater says they run 25 shows, and most of the cues and music for those shows were on those laptops.
