Police Search For Offenders In Arlington Heights Subway Burglary

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Arlington Heights Police department are asking the public for help in identifying the offenders involved in a burglary of a Subway that occurred last week.

The burglary occurred Thursday, Nov. 3 at approximately 3 a.m. at a Subway restaurant located on Euclid Avenue near Illinois Route 53 in Arlington Heights, according to a statement from the Arlington Heights police. The unidentified offenders used a pickup truck, stolen from Mount Prospect, to drive through the front window of the business.

The offenders entered the restaurant and stole numerous items and cash.

The vehicle was later recovered in Hanover Park, but none of the suspects have been found, according to police.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call police at (847) 368-5300 or submit an anonymous tip to Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers at (847) 590-STOP. Anonymous tips can also be submitted via text to 847411 with "847AHPD" in the message. Callers are guaranteed anonymity and may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
