Police Search For Child Luring Suspects In Little Village

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are warning Southwest Side residents of two males who attempted to lure a 10-year-old boy into a white van in the Little Village neighborhood.

About 9 a.m. Oct. 3, the boy was walking to school when he noticed a white van with a ladder and tinted windows following him in the 1000 block of West 31st Street, according to a statement from Chicago Police.

The passenger, wearing a yellow hat and white t-shirt, got out and waved for the boy to get into the van.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
