No Suspect In Downtown Armed Robbery

CHICAGO (CBS) -- No suspect was found after a report Friday afternoon of an armed robbery situation in the West Loop.

Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect in Downtown Chicago.

Right before 1 p.m., Chicago police responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Dunkin Donuts, in the 500 block of West Lake Street.

The suspect was said to be a male wearing a black coat, black hoodie, mask, scarf and rubber gloves.

A SWAT team assisted with the police response after reports of the suspect maybe being barricaded inside the building where the robbery occurred.

No one was barricaded and no suspect was located, police said.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.
