Police Release Surveillance Images Of Motorized Scooter Driver Wanted in Hit-And-Run Accident

(CBS) -- Chicago Police have released surveillance images of a man driving a motorized scooter who is wanted for a hit-and-run accident that left one woman seriously injured last month in the South Chicago neighborhood.

The accident occurred on Oct. 10 at 5:37 p.m. when the scooter driver struck a woman as she was walking on the sidewalk in the 2900 block of east 95th Street, police said. The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries and the driver fled the scene.

Police say the images were taken just before the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Accident Investigation Unit at (312) 745-4521.
