EVANSTON (CBS) -- A day after a gun was found in the backpack of a student at Evanston Township High School, police say they're investigating an apparent theft from a student's locker--by school staff.

A still photo is on the Facebook pages of some students at Evanston Township High School.

It appears to show a man looking into a student's locker, a frame grab from a video shot by a cell phone left inside the locker.

And the school has posted a note on its website referring to the "video implicating ... staff members" at the school.

Dugan says the video seems authentic.

Students at Evanston Township High School started the day with a demonstration, calling for action to stop the thefts.
