Police: Men Tried To Lure Girls Into SUV In Archer Heights

(STMW) -- Police are searching for three men who tried to lure two teenage girls into their SUV in the Archer Heights neighborhood on the Southwest Side Friday evening.

About 7:50 p.m., the girls, ages 14 and 15, where walking in the 4800 block of South Ridgeway when a white SUV with black rims drove by. Three men inside called to the girls, according to an alert from Chicago Police.

The men followed the girls, who then ran down a nearby alley. The men drove away northbound on Ridgeway towards Archer Avenue, police said.

The driver and two passengers are described as 40-to-49-year-old Hispanic men, police said.
