Police: Man Stabbed To Death In Woodlawn

(STMW) -- Two people are being questioned after a man was stabbed to death Saturday afternoon during a domestic incident in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

The 21-year-old man was stabbed about 3 p.m. in the 6500 block of South Minerva, police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Sweeney said. The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality.

Two people are being questioned in connection with the stabbing, Sweeney said. Area Central detectives are investigating.
