Police: Man Runs Into Business Waving Gun, Then Shoots Himself

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man fatally shot himself after entering a Near West Side business and waving a gun while looking for his ex-girlfriend Thursday morning, according to Chicago Police.

The 37-year-old man entered the business in the 1000 block of West Madison just before 11 a.m., waving a gun and asking for his ex-girlfriend, police said.

He then left the business and shot himself in the alley, where he was found dead, police said.

No other injuries were reported.
