Police: Man Killed In Saturday Morning Shooting On West Side

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found shot and killed Saturday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

Police found the 43-year-old unresponsive in an alley about 9:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of West Flournoy Street, police said. The man was shot "multiple times," police added. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office could not immediately confirm the man's death.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
