Police: Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Kennedy Expressway
(STMW) -- A man died when he fell off his motorcycle early Saturday on the Kennedy Expressway on the North Side, police said.
The man, in his 30s, was driving in the southbound lanes of the Kennedy (I-90/94) near Grand Avenue at 1:10 a.m. when he lost control and fell off, according to Illinois State Police. It wasn't known whether alcohol was a factor.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he later died, police said. No one else was injured.
The Cook County medical examiner's office could not confirm the death at 4:30 a.m.
Lanes had been reopened to traffic as of 4:30 a.m., police said.
