Police: Man In Custody After Fatal Woodlawn Stabbing

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 45-year-old man was stabbed to death in a domestic fight Sunday morning in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.

About 8:15 a.m., the victim got into an argument with a 27-year-old man who stabbed him in the chest inside an apartment in the 6600 block of South Vernon, police said.

The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the younger man was in custody with charges pending Sunday morning, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office did not immediately have information on the death.
