Police: Man Dies After Austin Shooting
(STMW) -- A man died after he was found shot in the head Saturday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side, police said.
The 24-year-old was found with a gunshot wound to the head about 12:45 p.m. in the 0-100 block of North Laramie, police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.
The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality Saturday afternoon.
