Police: Man, 68, Stabbed To Death In Logan Square

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 68-year-old man was stabbed to death in the Northwest Side Logan Square neighborhood Saturday evening, according to police.

The man was inside his home about 10:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of West Moffat when a male came inside and stabbed him multiple times, according to Chicago Police. The male then ran away.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's officer could not immediately confirm the death.

Area North detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
