Two Injured In Incident At Bedford Park Hotel

(CBS) -- Police say two people were injured after an incident inside a Bedford Park hotel early Sunday morning.

An adult male received a gunshot wound to the leg and another person was severely beaten up at the Residence Inn Marriott in the 6600 block of S. Cicero, according to Bedford Park police. Both were taken to Christ Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Four persons of interest are being interviews by Bedford Park police.

Police say they received a call at 1:18 a.m. about a fight at the hotel and officers were directed to the third floor, where they found the two injured people.

A spokesperson for the hotel released a statement saying, "We can confirm police are investigating an incident at the hotel that occurred early this morning. The incident is currently under police investigation, and we are cooperating fully with the police as they look into the matter. As this is an ongoing investigation it would be inappropriate to provide further comment."
