Police Investigating Deaths At Barrington Home

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police were investigating two deaths at a home in northwest suburban Barrington, after a discovery there Tuesday afternoon.

Barrington police and firefighters responded to a home in the 500 block of North Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, after receiving calls about a possible death.

Police have not released any details about the case, including any information about the victims. Neighbors said a married couple lives in their home, with their adult daughter, and have lived there more than 20 years.

Barrington police were in the lead in the investigation, but have not said much. A police car has been parked in the driveway overnight, and all through the morning. CBS 2 has been told it is there to protect the crime scene.

The Cook County Major Case Assistance Team is helping Barrington police with the death investigation.

Police said they expected to provide information on the investigation sometime Wednesday afternoon, after autopsies are conducted by the Lake County Coroner's office.
