Police Investigate Apparent Drive-By Shooting In LaGrange

(CBS) – A 22-year-old man was injured Monday afternoon in an apparent drive-by shooting in west suburban LaGrange.

Police say they responded to the area of Washington and Calendar avenues shortly before 3 p.m. and found the victim, who had been shot in the lower abdomen.

The victim was taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where he was in stable condition after surgery.

Witnesses say they heard three to four gun shots before observing a gray-colored, four-door Dodge drive away.

LaGrange police say the victim appeared to be targeted.
