Police: Hit-And-Run Driver Seriously Injured Man In Schaumburg

(CBS/STMW) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 52-year-old man Saturday afternoon in the northwest suburbs.

A white, two-door sports car struck the man at 2:43 p.m. on the corner of Wise Road and Cranbrook Drive in Schaumburg, police said.

The man was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village with serious head injuries, police said.

The car that was allegedly involved may have damage to its right front fender, door or hood, police said. A description of the driver was unknown.
