Police: Girl, 13, Grabbed From Behind By Man In Woodlawn

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are searching for a man who grabbed a 13-year-old girl from behind Monday afternoon in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The man approached the girl about 4 p.m. and grabbed her in the 800 block of East 63rd Street, but she was able to break free and run to safety, according to a community alert from Chicago Police. The suspect then ran away.

He was described as a black man, thought to be between 20 and 30 years old, standing about 5-foot-4, with a medium build, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, police said.
