Police: Gary Man Fired Shots Into House With Kids Inside

(STMW) -- A 20-year-old northwest Indiana man is facing felony charges after police say he fired shots into a home with children inside last weekend in Gary.

Six people were inside the home in the 800 block of East 36th Place when Davonta Horde started shooting Jan. 18, according to Gary police. An unspecified number of juveniles were inside, police said.

Horde, a Gary resident, was charged Friday with six counts of criminal recklessness.

Police are still investigating. Anyone with information should call detectives at (219) 881-1210 or (866) CRIME-GP.
