Police: Body Pulled From Lagoon On North Side

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A male body was recovered from a lagoon in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

The body of a male, believed to be between 17 and 25 years old, was pulled from the lagoon about 2:10 p.m. near the 2400 block of North Lake Shore Drive, police said.

The unidentified male was taken to Presence Saint Joseph Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

Area Central detectives are conducting a death investigation.
