Police: Aaron Kromer Punched Boy In Face During Dispute Over Beach Chairs

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities in the Florida Panhandle say Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer punched a boy in the face, injuring his left eye.

According to an arrest report released Monday by the Walton County Sheriff's Office, Kromer confronted two boys about using his beach chairs while fishing from the shoreline near the coach's home.

The report says the 48-year-old Kromer threw a fishing pole into the water, pushed one boy to the ground and then punched him.

The boy told deputies that Kromer threatened to kill his family if he reported the incident. The boys' ages were not disclosed.

Kromer was arrested Sunday and released on bond. He's charged with battery that caused bodily harm.

The report does not list an attorney for Kromer.

The Bills said in a release that they're aware of the arrest and are gathering facts.
