Police: 1 Killed, 2 Critically Wounded In West Humboldt Park Shooting

(STMW) --A 51-year-old man was killed and two other men were critically wounded in a West Humboldt Park neighborhood shooting Friday night on the West Side.

Felex McGhee and two other men, ages 19 and 27, were outside in the 1400 block of North Kildare about 8 p.m. when two gunmen walked up, started shooting and then ran away, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

McGhee, who lived in the same block, was shot in the abdomen and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

The 19-year-old was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to the abdomen, arm and buttocks. The 27-year-old was shot in the leg and arm and taken to Stroger Hospital, police said. Both were listed in critical condition.
