Plainfield Fire Department Surprises 7-Year-Old At His Birthday Party

CHICAGO (CBS)-- The Plainfield Fire Department showed up to save a 7-year-old's birthday party.

Dominic had a birthday party at a gym and only one friend showed up.

When a firefighter's wife heard what happened, she suggested workers at Gym Quest call the fire crew.

With the fire station just a few blocks away, the firefighters jumped into action and surprised Dominic.
