(CBS) – The serial bank robber known as the "Pinball Bandit" has been captured.

Nashun Langford has been charged in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday at the Fifth Third Bank in Hyde Park. Langford allegedly walked into the bank branch and gave a note to an employee threatening to fire a weapon if he was not given money.

The suspect fled with about $500, authorities said.

The "Pinball Bandit" was wanted for a series of robberies, at least six in less than two months within Chicago.

Authorities say Langford's girlfriend turned him in. Langford confessed to the Wednesday robbery, according to a court record.
