Person Pulled From Lake Near Montrose Harbor, In Critical Condition

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A person is in critical condition after being pulled out of Lake Michigan Saturday afternoon near Montrose Harbor.

Rescue crews pulled the person out of the water approximately 100 yards from Montrose Harbor about 2:30 p.m., according to preliminary information from Chicago Police and Fire Media Affairs.

The person, whose age and gender were not immediately known, was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.
