Person Killed In Crash Near Bensenville

CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in unincorporated Bensenville on Sunday.

The DuPage County Sheriff's Office is investigating the three-car accident at Grand Avenue and Crown.

Grand Ave was closed between York Road and County Line Road.

It is unknown how long the roadway will be closed.

One person was dead on the scene, while seven others were sent to the hospital.

The nature of their injuries was not known.
