Person In Custody For Lakeview Stabbing

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Charges were pending against a person early Monday after a man was stabbed during an argument in the Lakeview neighborhood on the North Side.

About 1:30 a.m., a 28-year-old man was involved in the argument with another person in the 500 block of West Aldine, when the person pulled out a knife, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered stab wounds to the back and legs and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The other person was taken into custody and charges were pending early Monday, police said. Alcohol may have played a role in the incident.
