People Of Interest Questioned In Fatal University Village Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Detectives are questioning at least two people of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of a 62-year-old man Tuesday evening in the University Village neighborhood.

Robert Howard was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head about 6:40 p.m. near his home in the 1000 block of West Maxwell Street, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Police said the shooting might have been related to an earlier dispute he had with a neighbor, and were questioning people of interest Thursday evening. No charges have been filed.
