Pedestrian Fatally Struck On Dan Ryan

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car on the Dan Ryan, according to Illinois State Police.

The incident took place at 69th Street early Sunday morning.

According to ISP, a Chevrolet SUV was driving on I-94 in the southbound express lane at 69th Street when it struck a pedestrian.

Police said the pedestrian, "was laying in the far right lane of traffic, with the front portion of her vehicle."

Police said all lanes now open and this incident is still under investigation.
