Pau Gasol Out For Thursday's Game, While Derrick Rose Is Questionable

(CBS) The banged-up Bulls won't have their full complement of players against the 76ers in Philadelphia on Thursday night.

Big man Pau Gasol didn't make the trip east after revealing after Tuesday's loss at Milwaukee that he's dealing with a sprained shoulder and sore Achilles. It's the second game this season Gasol will miss. He sat out a game at New York in December to rest.

Joakim Noah's expected to start in Gasol's place, the Tribune's K.C. Johnson reported, though he's is still working his way back into form from a left shoulder injury that's still tender at times.

Point guard Derrick Rose is listed as questionable for the Bulls after missing most of the second half Tuesday with left knee discomfort. Rose has left patella tendonitis, the team has said.

Bulls wing Jimmy Butler and Doug McDermott both are listed as probable. Each suffered a sprained right ankle Tuesday but were able to finish the game.

The Bulls (22-15) have lost three games in a row and are in the midst of a four-games-in-five-nights stretch.
