Passenger Dies After Taxi, Car Collide In The Loop
CHICAGO (CBS)-- An accident Friday morning downtown, killed a passeger in a taxi.
Police said a taxi failed to yield the right of way and collided with a silver Mustang near Wacker and Washington. The driver of the Mustang was speeding, police said.
The impact killed one of the cab's passengers, Hans Monory, 33.
Family members say Monory just started a new job as a startup in the logistics industry.
He was planning to leave for Miami today for a short vacation. He was not married, but had a longtime girlfriend, family said.
There were no other injuries reported.
