One Wounded In Stevenson Expressway Shooting

(CBS) -- One person is recovering after being shot on the Stevenson Expressway. It happened around 9:30 near the Central Avenue ramp Saturday night.

The injuries are described as non-life threatening.

All lanes of the Stevenson were shut down at one point.

While the Illinois State Police didn't have an estimate on the amount of gun violence on major Chicago roadways this year, this is one of at least a half-dozen similar incidents in 2014, with shootings on the Eisenhower, Kennedy, Dan Ryan and Bishop Ford.

The condition of the victim is unknown. Investigators don't have anyone in custody.
