One In Custody After Officer Fires Weapon During Disturbance Near 606 Trail

(CBS/STMW) -- One person is in custody after a Chicago Police officer fired his weapon early Sunday near the newly-opened 606 Trail in the Northwest Side Logan Square neighborhood.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of North Talman a few minutes after 12 a.m., police said. A suspect pointed a weapon at the officers, and one of the officers fired his gun.

No one was shot and no injuries were reported.

One person is in custody early Sunday, according to police. No charges have been filed.
