OMG Snow? Already? Eh, Not Really
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Folks up north of Chicago got their first glimpse of wintry weather on Thursday morning, with reports of some light snow.
As it turns out, it's not that unusual.
While it always seems like it is too soon, it is typical to see the first flakes in the air in October.

Down in the city, there was no snow, but the weather outside sure felt like winter, with brisk winds making temperatures feel in the mid 30s.
