Old Chicago Post Office Building Catches Fire, Again

(CBS) -- The old post office on the western edge of Chicago's Loop caught fire Monday -- the latest such incident at the mothballed building.

The fire was reported around 10 a.m. at the structure at Canal and Van Buren, and smoke could be seen billowing from the building's roof.

Investigators say the origin appears to have been a pallet with burning rubbish.

No injuries were reported.

The old building has been the scene of occasional fires.
