Ohio Feeder To Close For Bridge Maintenance Overnight

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Ohio Feeder ramp to the Kennedy Expressway will be closed overnight for maintenance on the Ohio Street Bridge.

The full closure of the feeder between Orleans and I-90/94 will last from midnight to 7 a.m. Sunday to allow for maintenance and testing of the bridge, according to a statement from the Chicago Department of Transportation. All ramps between the expressway and the feeder in each direction will be closed.

Posted detours will direct traffic westbound on Ontario, north on Orleans and west on Division to access the Kennedy, CDOT said.

Westbound Kennedy traffic will be directed to exit at Milwaukee and head southeast on Milwaukee, east on Chicago, and south on Orleans to access Ohio Street, according to CDOT. Eastbound Kennedy traffic will be directed to exit at Washington (exit 51C) and then head east on Washington and north on Franklin and Orleans to access Ohio.
