Oak Lawn Bank Robbery Was Man's 3rd Heist

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man robbed his third southwest suburban bank this summer Saturday morning in Oak Lawn, according to the FBI.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound black man held up the U.S. Bank branch at 10270 S. Central Ave. about 11 a.m., authorities said.

The same man is also suspected of robbing another U.S. Bank branch in Bridgeview Aug. 9 and a BMO Harris Bank branch in Midlothian Aug. 25.

He hasn't shown a weapon in any of the robberies and no one has been hurt, authorities said.

Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
