NW Side Costume Store Gearing Up For Last-Minute Halloween Shoppers

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A costume shop on Chicago's Northwest Side is gearing up for a rush of customers less than a week before Halloween.

Fantasy Costumes in Portage Park hasn't closed its block-long store since Thursday and it will remain open through Halloween.

Manager Chuck Giovenco says they have more than one million items to help build the perfect costume. That includes roughly 30,000 wigs and 5,000 masks - including ones of Rod Blagojevich, Donald Trump, President Obama and Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

The store has already sold out of kids costumes from the Halo videogame and the Disney movie Descendents.

Popular costumes for adults this year include the Muppets, Star Wars characters, Caitlyn Jenner, Cecil the lion and the dentist who shot him - along with the standard witches, zombies and vampires.
