Nurse Loses License After Admitting She Took Pic Of Unconscious Patient's Penis
(CBS) -- A nurse from New York state has lost her medical license after she was convicted of taking a digital photo of an unconscious man's penis.
Kristen Johnson pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disseminating unlawful surveillance photos, a misdemeanor, CBS affiliate WRGB-TV, Albany reported.
She was working at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., at the time of the incident.
As part of her plea deal, prosecutors dropped felony charges of disseminating surveillance photos unlawfully. She was placed on three years probation.
The Onondaga County District Attorney's Office began investigating the case after co-workers complained that she sent pictures of two patients in text messages.
