Northern Illinois Has No Trouble With Eureka In 100-52 Win

DEKALB, Ill. (AP) — Marshawn Wilson scored 17 points on 6 of 8 shooting to help lead Northern Illinois to a 100-52 victory over Division III Eureka College on Saturday.

Chuks Iroegbu finished with 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting and Jaylen Key added 12 more on 5 of 9 from the field for the Huskies (4-0), who are on a four game winning streak to begin the year.

Northern Illinois shot 53.4 percent from the field, 88.2 percent at the free throw line, and dished out 32 total assists, including a game-high 10 from Laytwan Porter.

The Huskies opened on a 12-0 run, highlighted by an Iroegbu dunk and 3-point play, and never trailed in the game. They led 58-25 at the half and a Jordan Thomas 3 with 3:56 left pushed the lead past 40.

Hank Thomas had 13 points for Eureka.
