North Side Crash Sends Man To Hospital

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was injured in a car crash on the North Side Wednesday night.

The 25-year-old man was driving a Honda Accord north in the 1500 block of North Broadway Street about 2 a.m. when he swerved to avoid a traffic cone and struck two parked cars, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The man was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital in good condition, Greer said. No one else was injured.

He was cited for driving without proof of insurance.
