Kendrick Adams Charged After Burglars Break Into Nordstrom On Michigan Avenue, Steal Purses; Police Seek Other Suspects

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A 27-year-old man faces a felony burglary charge, after a group of thieves smashed their way into the Nordstrom store on the Magnificent Mile overnight.

Police said a group of three to four men shattered the glass door at the Grand Avenue entrance with a brick around 1:30 a.m. The burglars stole purses and other merchandise.

The men fled the scene, and police arrested one suspect close to the store.

Kendrick Adams, 27, of the Ashburn neighborhood, was charged with one felony count of burglary, and appeared in bond court Monday afternoon.

Late Monday, police issued a photo showing surveillance images of seven others wanted in the burglary.
