Noah Records Career-High 11 Assists, Then Says He 'Over-Passed'
(CBS) It's not surprising that the Bulls are limited offensively in the absence of star guard Derrick Rose. That much was again evident in a 102-87 loss last night at Golden State, when Chicago jumped out to a 16-point lead early but couldn't keep up with the high-powered hosts.
What was somewhat surprising was hearing All-Star center Joakim Noah take a good share of the offensive blame following a game in which he posted a career-high 11 assists to go along with seven points and 10 rebounds. His distribution was a sight to see as always, but he said it wasn't enough when the Warriors were missing big men David Lee and Andrew Bogut.
"They played small and usually, that works to our advantage, when they play like that," Noah told CNSChicago.com. "We didn't adjust well to that tonight. Switching the pick-and-roll, I think I should have done a better job of being aggressive. I over-passed tonight."
At 24-25, the Bulls currently hold the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, though they are just two games out of the third seed.
