No One Injured In Humboldt Park Fire

CHICAGO (STMW) -- No one was hurt in a fire Friday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The blaze was reported in a two-and-a-half story apartment building at 520 N. Springfield Av. about 5:45 a.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.

The fire was extinguished a few minutes later, just before 6 a.m., but firefighters remained at the scene chasing hot spots.

Human Services will assist six adults who live in the building, according to fire media. No one was hurt.
