Nine-Year-Old Driving For Inebriated Couple: Police

(CBS) -- A Wisconsin couple is facing criminal charges after authorities say they found the two highly intoxicated in their pickup truck and the woman's 9-year-old daughter behind the wheel in the town of Balsam Lake.

Jason Roth and Amanda Eggert have pleaded not guilty to charges in Polk County Circuit Court.

According to media reports, the two were arrested after authorities got a 911 call about erratic driving.

A deputy caught up with the vehicle at a boat launch along the Apple River.

Deputy Jeff Hahn testified he was stunned to see a young girl behind the wheel and the couple's baby in a car seat.
