NFL, Bears Announce More Details On Draft Festivities

(CBS) The NFL and the Bears announced more details on the draft festivities following the three-day event that will take place in Chicago from April 28-30.

A fan headquarters of sorts in Grant Park and Congress Plaza, Draft Town will be open from noon to 10 p.m. on April 28 and 29 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 30. There will be photo opportunities with the Lombardi Trophy, historic memorabilia, a tailgate featuring some of the city's well-known restaurants as well as other previously announced attractions, such as a Ferris wheel and children's activities. Including in those attractions for kids are youth football clinics for ages 6-14, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. the first two days and then 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Bears' draft party at Soldier Field from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the first round of the draft on April 28 will feature nearly 20 current and former Bears players, notably legends Dick Butkus and Mike Ditka.

Other former Bears expected to attend are Anthony Adams, Jerry Azumah, Johnny Knox, Jason McKie, Nathan Vasher and James "Big Cat" Williams. Current players scheduled to attend are Ka'Deem Carey, Ego Ferguson, Eddie Goldman, Hroniss Grasu, Lamarr Houston, Charles Leno Jr.,Marc Mariani, Cameron Meredith and Marquess Wilson.
