New York City Mayor To Appear On 'The Good Wife'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mayor Bill de Blasio will be making a guest appearance as himself on an episode of CBS' “The Good Wife”.

The mayor is listed as a guest star, appearing as himself, in a preview for the episode of the CBS drama set to appear on March 16.

In the episode, “A Few Words,” Julianna Margulies’ Alicia Florrick character is asked to be the keynote speaker at the American Bar Association conference in New York City.

“The Good Wife” tells the story of Florrick, a wife and mother who both assumes full responsibility from her family and reenters the workforce as an tough attorney in her own right, after her husband, Peter, resigns as Cook County State’s Attorney in Chicago and ends up in jail following a public sex and corruption scandal.

Also in the March 16 episode, Jill Hennessey guest stars as power lawyer Rayna Hecht, and Eric Bogosian returns as Nelson Dubeck, an agent in the Office of Public Integrity.

Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg appeared as a guest star on “The Good Wife” last spring.
