Never Too Early? Construction Begins On Chicago's Christmas Village

 (CBS) -- It's almost the end of October, and you know what that means.

No, not Halloween. Rather, it's that time work crews begin setting up the "Christkindlmarket" at downtown Daley Plaza.

Trucks were already set up Thursday night and workers could be seen making preparations to build the elaborate German-themed Christmas market.

It will be open Nov. 20 until Christmas Eve.

Not everything is the same. The city's official Christmas tree will move to Millennium Park this year after a 48-year run at Daley Plaza.
