My Employer Has Offered Me Light Duty, What Should I Do?

Content Provided by Horwitz Horwitz & Associates

If you are unable to work, your employer can owe you two thirds of your pay, or disability pay. If your employer offers you light duty it is Horwitz Horwitz & Associates' recommendation that you attempt light duty. When light duty is offered, your weekly disability pay is going to stop and if you do not accept light duty, you can be fired for cause. If you are unclear about the safety of light duty, Horwitz Horwitz & Associates suggests that you contact an attorney for better clarity.
